Project Overview

A fully modular, scalable email template system for Salesforce, complete with dev-ready specs, templated assets, and reusable components. Built to streamline internal production and empower Salesforce teams to manage campaigns independently.

Challenge

Salesforce needed a modular system to support multiple email types and business units. The existing setup lacked consistency and scalability, which led to delays and inconsistencies. We were tasked with creating a flexible framework that development could implement and replicate across use cases.

My Role

Designed the email system with reusable components and patterns
Created a detailed module library with variations for hero, CTA, testimonials, and more
Organized and exported all assets including image specs, sizing, and layout documentation
Built responsive templates for transactional, marketing, and product use cases
Ensured everything was developer-ready, with spacing, padding, and visual guidance clearly outlined

Outcome

Templates were successfully implemented by developers without additional support
Salesforce continued working with our team for UX research and additional email strategy
System supported diverse use cases including analytics, commerce, and onboarding emails
Built a foundation for ongoing modular email design at scale
