The Problem
Salesforce needed a consistent, scalable email system that multiple teams could use independently. The existing setup was inconsistent and slow to produce. They needed a flexible framework that development could implement and replicate without designer involvement every time.
My Role
Lead Designer on the full email system, from component architecture through dev handoff.
Designed a reusable component library covering hero, CTA, testimonials, and more
Built responsive templates for onboarding and product update use cases
Created detailed asset exports with image specs, sizing, and layout documentation
Delivered dev handoff documentation so teams could implement without additional support

Built modular blocks that could be mixed and matched across different email types
Designed responsive layouts for both desktop and mobile from the start
Documented every spec — spacing, padding, image sizing — so developers had no guesswork
